Prime Homes Services Bangalore is seeking a strong, hands-on Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of real estate finance experience to own the financial controllership of the company and its projects.

The candidate will independently manage finance, controls, reporting, cash flow, taxation, and project accounting, driving accuracy, speed, and commercial insight across all ventures.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in real estate project accounting and finance.
• Proven expertise in project costing, cash flow, budgeting, MIS, taxation, audit, and financial controls.
• Strong understanding of RERA-related financial requirements.
• Excellent Excel, financial modelling, and ERP skills.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of accounting, financial control, and reporting for the company and all projects.
• Lead project-wise accounting, budgeting, costing, profitability, and cost-to-completion.
• Prepare and control project cash flows, working capital, collections, payments, and funding requirements.
• Deliver monthly MIS, project P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements and dashboards.
• Monitor budgets vs. actuals, identify variances, and drive corrective action.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance across land/construction costs, vendors, collections, and project expenses.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, tax advisers, and financial institutions.
• Provide financial due diligence for land acquisitions, JVs, JDAs, new projects, and investments.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team; act as business partner to CFO/MD.

Role

We are looking for a strong, hands-on CA with 10+ years of real estate finance experience to take complete ownership of financial controllership across the company and its projects.

The candidate must be commercially sharp, highly disciplined, and capable of independently managing finance, controls, reporting, cash flow, taxation, and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of accounting, financial control, and reporting for the company and all projects.
• Lead project-wise accounting, budgeting, costing, profitability, and cost-to-completion.
• Prepare and control project cash flows, working capital, collections, payments, and funding requirements.
• Deliver accurate monthly MIS, project P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow statements, and management dashboards.
• Closely monitor project budgets vs. actual costs, identify leakages/variances, and drive corrective action.
• Manage GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance, and audits with zero tolerance for delays or errors.
• Ensure robust financial controls over land costs, construction costs, vendors, customer collections, and project expenses.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, tax advisers, and financial institutions.
• Provide financial due diligence and commercial inputs for land acquisitions, JVs, JDAs, new projects, and investments.
• Ensure appropriate financial controls and compliance for RERA projects.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Act as a business partner to the CFO/MD, providing clear financial analysis and actionable recommendations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 10+ years post-qualification experience, preferably with a reputed real estate developer.
• Strong hands-on experience in real estate project accounting and finance.
• Proven expertise in project costing, cash flow, budgeting, MIS, taxation, audit, and financial controls.
• Strong understanding of RERA-related financial requirements.
• Excellent Excel, financial modelling, and ERP skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function.
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical ability, and leadership skills.
