Job summary

Golden Opportunities is seeking a Lead ESG professional in Delhi with 7–10 years of experience, including 5+ years in ESG/Sustainability reporting. The role focuses on preparing reports under BRSR, GRI, SASB, and TCFD, and driving ESG disclosures with cross‑functional teams.

You will own the sustainability reporting process, manage KPI dashboards, engage with rating agencies, and ensure regulatory compliance across ESG governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in ESG/Sustainability reporting.
• Experience with BRSR, GRI, SASB, and TCFD reporting.
• Led or significantly contributed to annual sustainability reports and disclosures.
• Managed ESG rating submissions and stakeholder engagement with rating agencies.
• Experience in ESG governance, strategic development, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG reporting initiatives and annual sustainability disclosures.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across HR, EHS, Finance, CSR, IT, Operations, IR, and leadership.
• Develop and monitor ESG KPIs and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with external rating agencies and stakeholders.

Job description

Job Title – Lead ESG

Candidate Specification – Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience

Location – Delhi

• 7–10 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in ESG/Sustainability Reporting roles.
• Hands‑on experience in preparing and managing reports under BRSR, GRI, SASB, and TCFD frameworks.
• Demonstrated ownership or significant contribution to annual sustainability reports and ESG disclosures.
• Experience handling ESG rating submissions, assessments, or stakeholder engagement with S&P Global, Sustainalytics, MSCI, Refinitiv, and/or CRISIL ESG Ratings.
• Strong exposure to sustainability strategy development, ESG governance, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Experience in benchmarking ESG performance, tracking material KPIs, and driving sustainability improvement programs.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholders including HR, EHS, Finance, CSR, IT, Operations, Investor Relations, and senior leadership.
• Experience in sustainability data collection, analysis, dashboard creation, KPI monitoring, and internal/external reporting.
• Exposure to ESG audits, assurance processes, materiality assessments, and risk management frameworks.
• Preferred educational background: B.Tech, MBA, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or related disciplines, with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
