Job summary

Qualcomm India seeks Systems Engineers to join its Multimedia Systems Team in Bengaluru, building image processing and computer vision solutions for mobile devices. You will help push embedded camera tech and develop algorithms that let devices see, understand, and react in real time.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or PhD) with several years of systems engineering experience, deep knowledge of signal processing, computer vision, and deep learning, and proficiency in C/C++ on Windows/Linux.

• Develop cutting‑edge Computer Vision Algorithms for real‑world analytical tasks.
• Build fixed‑point implementations and C/C++ models for image processing modules destined for hardware.
• Optimize algorithm complexity and balance quality vs performance like a true tech ninja.

What You Bring To The Table

• A Master's degree + 6 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of signal processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
• Strong command of C/C++, data structures, and fixed‑point implementation.
• Comfortable working across Windows/Linux platforms.

Bonus Points If You Have

• A background in digital signal processing, statistics, or data analysis.
• Experience with image processing algorithms, color science, or ISP pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning training and evaluation methodologies.
• Skills in MATLAB, Python, and C++.

• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
