Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. invites an experienced Infotainment Certification Engineer to guide certification from OEM to product launch, covering Android Auto, CarPlay, and Alexa, with a focus on Infotainment, Connectivity, and AR-HUD testing.

You will craft test cases for Infotainment/Cluster/Apps, execute CTS/VTS cycles, coordinate with OEMs and 3PL, and liaise with Apple/Google for requirements and waivers.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in automotive infotainment or testing.
• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Instrumentation.
• Expertise in Infotainment, Heads-up display, V2X, and cyber security.
• Experience with Android Auto, CarPlay, and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa certification from OEM to product launch.
• Write test cases for Infotainment, Cluster, Connectivity, Apps and AR-HUD.
• Full test cycle for Android XTS (CTS/VTS), Android Auto Testing and CarPlay Testing.
• Understand MFi Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto portals.
• Analyze new Android Auto/CarPlay specs to understand hardware and software changes.
• Test monitoring, reporting, defect tracking and related support.
• Interact with 3PL, Apple and Google for requirements clarifications.
• Create and submit waivers/exceptions to Apple/Google.

Job description

1. Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to Launch of Product.

2. Shall able to understand the system requirement for Infotainment / Cluster/ Connectivity / Apps/AR-HUD and Write the Test case for testing.

3. Responsible for Full Test Cycle for Android XTS (CTS,VTS) , Android Auto Testing and CarPlay Testing

4. Fully Understanding on the MFi Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto Portals

5. Responsible on analyzing the New Requirements of Android Auto/ CarPlay Latest Spec to understand the Hardware and Software changes in the System.

6.Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions

7. Interaction with 3PL, Apple, Google on the Requirements Clarifications.

8. Responsible on the Waiver and Exception creation and submission to Apple/Google.

Experience

6 - 10 years of experience

Industry Preferred

Preferably Automotive and Tier 1 who supplies Infotainment system

Qualifications

Expertise in Driver Display and connectivity domain ( Infotainment, Heads up display, vehicle connectivity(V2X), cyber security)

4. Ability to access, work with quality and compassion towards the cause.
5. Working experience with OEM, Tier 1 and 3PL on the Certification.
6. Basic Knowledge on the Android and Linux/QNX Infotainment
