Job summary

RE1055 GE Renewable Energy Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced OT cybersecurity leader for gas power control solutions, guiding controls NPI networking and cyber teams.

You will develop and deploy cybersecurity strategies, mentor engineers, and work with a global cross-functional team to strengthen platforms for power generation. The role emphasizes security requirements, safety, reliability, and collaboration across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or above in Electronics Engineering/Computer engineering/software engineering/controls-instrumentation engineering/Industrial Automation or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in Control server/network design.
• Hands on experience of Network, Compute, Data, Storage and Application security principles for on-premises/cloud applications.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem identification and solution skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy OT cybersecurity solutions for gas power control and driving the deployment of new technologies.
• Collaborate with product line leaders to capture and translate customer cybersecurity requirements for the NPI teams.
• Work with technical leaders, system architects, and principal engineers to develop test plans for product cybersecurity strategies and product development.
• Drive the product development and deployment of new technologies and lifecycle tools for application sizing, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Be the point of contact for project teams for technical questions and guidance on OT cyber security.
• Document standard procedures for product lifecycle stages related to cybersecurity services.
• Evaluate and implement virtualization technologies.
• Train and coordinate with global teams on new cybersecurity service releases.
• Support field personnel in resolving technical issues and coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and services.

• Address rigorous security requirements while maintaining the safety, availability, and reliability of physical assets.
• Mentoring a team of engineers in control server networks and cybersecurity.

The position requires working with a global, cross-functional team to enhance platforms for power generation applications.

Required Qualifications
