Job summary

Chubb India seeks a Technical Lead to drive design, development, testing, and maintenance of secure, scalable enterprise applications and backend services in Bangalore. You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure security and best practices across teams.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and AI toolchains to accelerate delivery, adoption of modern patterns, and production reliability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in either .NET or Java backend development.
• Experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
• Adopt AI/ML tools, frameworks, and services with genuine hands-on depth.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Drive API lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL, and event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Experience in building Cloud Native applications and platforms, preferably on platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and agile development practices.
• Expertise in AI frameworks (e.g., Anthropic Claude, LangChain, etc) to architect, automate, and optimize the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience of managing teams is a plus
