• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in E&I project execution for industrial plants (chemical, petrochemical, pharma, manufacturing).
• Experience with PMC/EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise E&I execution for industrial plant projects.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, BOQs, and method statements for E&I.
• Monitor HT/LT systems, transformers, MCC/PCC panels, cable laying and earthing.
• Oversee calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments, PLC, SCADA, DCS.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to meet milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety, PTW, LOTO, and EHS guidelines.
• Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, and issue resolution.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly status reports.

This role is responsible for overseeing Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) activities for industrial projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution of installation, testing, and commissioning works. The position will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver project objectives while maintaining compliance with engineering and safety standards.

About the Role:

• Lead and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation execution activities for industrial plant expansion and greenfield/brownfield projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, technical submittals, BOQs, and method statements related to E&I systems.
• Monitor installation of HT/LT systems, transformers, PCC/MCC panels, cable trays, cable laying, termination, and earthing systems.
• Manage installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments, PLC, SCADA, DCS, transmitters, and control valves.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with project schedule, quality standards, safety procedures, PTW requirements, and industry best practices.
• Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, and technical assessments to identify and resolve engineering issues.
• Monitor testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch point closure, and project handover activities.
• Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, electrical safety standards, and EHS guidelines throughout project execution.

About You:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation project execution within Industrial, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharma, Manufacturing, or Process Plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, PCC/MCC panels, cable laying, and electrical installations.
• Experience in PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, field instrumentation, calibration, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of E&I systems.
• Good understanding of project execution, contractor management, and construction supervision.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, Permit to Work (PTW), and LOTO procedures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in PMC/EPC projects will be preferred.
