Job summary

Wison Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee the Electrical Specialists group on major LNG, refinery, and petrochemical projects. You will ensure high-quality design work, adherence to international codes, and timely delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

You will lead a skilled team, manage resources, and implement best practices learned from past projects while maintaining strong safety standards and technical integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in LNG, refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or pharmaceutical plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and international codes and standards.
• Proficiency in electrical system study/calculation software such as ETAP, SKM, etc.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team of engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation of the Electrical Specialists group, ensuring high quality, on time, and within budget for the project.
• Ensure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, and other deliverables produced by the electrical discipline.
• Execute assigned work in accordance with contract procedures and standards.
• Adhere to design safety procedures and promote safe attitudes toward engineering design; ensure features affecting safety are reviewed by authorized engineers.
• Review and implement lessons learned from previous projects.
• Ensure adequate information flow within electrical and other disciplines to maintain design consistency.
• Ensure adequate manpower resources and required technical competence for the area.
• Advise the Discipline Head on manpower requirements to meet schedules within budget.

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee the Electrical Specialists group, ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of engineering and design work on major projects in LNG, refinery, petrochemical, and similar process facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation of the Electrical Specialists group, ensuring all work is completed with high quality, on time, and within established work hour budgets for the assigned project.
• Ensure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, and other deliverables produced by the electrical discipline.
• Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and standards.
• Adhere to company procedures and work instructions for design safety; promote safe attitudes toward engineering design and ensure features affecting project safety and integrity are reviewed by appropriately authorized engineers from other groups or departments.
• Review and implement lessons learned from previous projects.
• Ensure adequate flow of information within electrical and other disciplines to maintain uniformity in design and drafting activities.
• Ensure adequate manpower resources and the required technical competence are available for the assigned area.
• Advise the Discipline Head on manpower requirements to meet work schedules within budget allocation.
