Job description

Well conversant with 2D drafting tools, Navis Freedom. Offshore Project Design Experience in Greenfield Process Platform/ Greenfield Well Platforms and some Offshore modification Projects will carry more weightage. Clients: ONGC, Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, and other reputed IOCs.

Role

Lead the Electrical Layout Engineering work in a Project or Pre‑Bid as Lead Checker including estimating 3D and 2D manpower loading, MTO engineering, and FEED Electrical Room layout verification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other disciplines (Structural, Piping, Instrumentation, Mechanical, 3D Coordinator/Administrator) for necessary inputs and solutions to resolve clashes.
• Review Electrical & Piping layouts, structural framing plans, and other discipline IDCs related to layout design.
• Review electrical installation drawings and electrical switch room/battery room layouts.
• Independently participate in all 3D model reviews and close out of 3D model tags.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Electrical installation drawings and switch room/battery room layouts.
• Good understanding and review capability of Electrical & Piping Layouts and structural framing plans.
• Experience using 2D drafting tools such as Navis Freedom.

Key Relationships

Internal relationships include interaction with 3D modelers, 2D designers, Lead Engineer, Discipline Engineers, and other discipline lead designers.
