Job summary

Sonata Software in Bangalore is seeking a Tech Lead MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform to drive API-led integration for a client project. This role requires hands-on MuleSoft development and architecture experience on the Anypoint Platform.

You will lead technical teams, design scalable integration solutions, and work on cloud/on-premise integrations with ERP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure. WFO for 5 days at WSA office, Doddanekkundi area; absorption after 6 months.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in MuleSoft development and architecture on the Anypoint Platform.
• Proven API-led connectivity design, integration patterns, microservices, and enterprise integration.
• Strong MuleSoft expertise with DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub.
• Experience integrating cloud and on-premise apps (ERP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, SaaS).
• Knowledge of security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, TLS; familiarity with API governance.
• Leadership of technical teams, architecture reviews, and end-to-end delivery management.

Professional Work Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development and architecture experience on the Anypoint Platform.
• Proven experience designing and implementing API-led connectivity, integration patterns, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong expertise in Mule, DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating cloud and on-premise applications such as ERPs Salesforce, Microsoft Azure etc and enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Solid understanding of integration security, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, TLS, and API governance frameworks.
• Experience leading technical teams, conducting architecture reviews, mentoring developers, and managing end-to-end delivery of integration programs.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices, including Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and automated testing frameworks.
• MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA) are highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
