Job summary

UST is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will build scalable APIs and integration flows across healthcare payer applications, ensuring API-led connectivity and robust data transformations.

Strong hands-on MuleSoft experience, RAML, DataWeave, and Java/J2EE skills are required. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and agile delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for enterprise integrations.
• Experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of DataWeave, API-led connectivity, message transformation, and error handling.
• Experience with Java/J2EE and relational databases.
• Experience with integration development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Roles & Responsibilities

MuleSoft Development & Integration

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build scalable APIs and integration flows using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Design Center, Connectors, and Mule Runtime.
• Develop REST and SOAP-based integrations between healthcare systems, applications, and external partners.

API Development & Architecture

• Implement API-led connectivity patterns and reusable integration solutions.
• Develop data transformation, routing, and orchestration solutions using MuleSoft capabilities.
• Create and maintain API specifications using RAML and related standards.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Analyze integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide timely production support and resolution for integration failures.
• Perform monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization activities.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical improvements.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and MuleSoft development best practices.

Deployment & DevOps

• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
