Job summary

Magma General Insurance Limited seeks a strategic, hands‑on leader to drive a mobile‑first digital ecosystem across customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. You will build and scale digital journeys across mobile apps, APIs, and self‑service platforms to improve customer experience, speed claims, and enable new digital revenue models.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in digital product / mobility / platform ecosystem roles (insurance/fintech/SaaS).
• Experience launching mobile products at scale and translating business needs into product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define the mobility and digital ecosystem roadmap across lines of business.
• Own end‑to‑end mobile journeys: onboarding, e‑KYC, policy issuance, renewals, claims, payments.
• Work with UX/UI to design simple, intuitive app experiences.
• Oversee API integrations and data exchange frameworks.
• Work with Engineering to deliver scalable mobile platforms.
• Ensure performance, security, and interoperability with legacy core systems.
• Prioritize backlog, write user stories, and participate in sprint planning.
• Use analytics to drive personalization, churn reduction, and digital adoption.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, consent, and cybersecurity standards.

We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on leader to drive our mobile‑first digital ecosystem across customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. This role will build and scale digital journeys across mobile apps, APIs, partner integrations, and self‑service platforms — improving customer experience, speeding claims, and enabling new digital revenue models. You will work closely with Product, Technology, Claims, Distribution, and External Partners to deliver a seamless, secure, and connected insurance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the mobility and digital ecosystem roadmap across lines of business (health, motor, life, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for new mobile journeys, super‑app capabilities, and partner integrations.
• Convert business goals into clear product requirements and feature backlogs.
• Own end‑to‑end mobile journeys: onboarding, e‑KYC, policy issuance, renewals, claims, payments, support.
• Work with UX/UI to design simple, intuitive app experiences.
• Lead pilots, A/B experiments, and adoption strategies.
• Build partnerships with: hospitals, garages, diagnostics, telematics
• verification & e‑signature service providers
• Oversee API integrations and data exchange frameworks.
• Work with Engineering to deliver scalable mobile platforms.
• Ensure performance, security, and interoperability with legacy core systems.
• Prioritize backlog, write user stories, and participate in sprint planning.
• Use analytics to drive personalization, churn reduction, and digital adoption.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, consent, and cybersecurity standards.

Strong understanding of:

• APIs, integrations, microservices concepts
• mobile apps, onboarding, e‑KYC, payments, notifications.
• Proven experience launching mobile products at scale.
• Ability to translate business needs into product requirements.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and partner negotiation skills.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in digital product / mobility / platform ecosystem roles (preferably in insurance, fintech, health tech, or SaaS).

Good to Have

• Experience with telematics, UBI, wellness programs, or partner marketplaces.
• Background in Insurtech, BFSI, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of security, consent frameworks, and data privacy.
• Exposure to analytics tools, dashboards, and customer journey mapping.
