About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished technology leader to head the Digital Technology Delivery team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic digital solutions across platforms, driving innovation, enhancing customer experience, and partnering with business and global technology teams to execute digital transformation initiatives. The candidate should have owned digital delivery and held engineering digital delivery leadership roles for at least 5-7 years, with skills in user experience, mobile programming, customer experience, and digital (UI/UX).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the digital delivery organization covering web applications, mobile apps, cloud platforms, APIs, customer portals, and agent tools.
• Own end-to-end delivery of digital projects/programs, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and of high quality.
• Partner with business, operations, and global IT stakeholders to align delivery roadmaps with strategic goals.
• Build and scale Agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage a diverse team including software engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and QA professionals.
• Champion digital innovation by integrating emerging technologies like AI/ML, Low-Code/No-Code, Intelligent Automation, and Cloud-native solutions.
• Establish and enforce governance for project tracking, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop vendor partnerships to augment delivery capacity as needed.
• Set metrics and KPIs to measure delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years leading digital initiatives, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Experience managing large, distributed (onsite-offshore) teams.
• Proven track record in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps transformations.
• Knowledge of insurance industry processes (underwriting, claims, policy admin, customer service) is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as SAFe Agilist, PMP, Scrum Master, AWS/Azure Cloud certifications.
• Experience with InsurTech partnerships and emerging technologies.
• Background in modernization programs, including legacy-to-digital transitions.
