Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and enterprise networking experience.

• Experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC for consistent env provisioning.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile software delivery environments.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help build, automate, and optimize cloud-native platforms that support critical retirement technology solutions. You will work across development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability, system scalability, and operational excellence. This role focuses on modern DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, and platform observability. Success is measured through platform stability, deployment efficiency, service availability, and continuous improvement outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and automation tools.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, and related delivery technologies.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes platforms including EKS and OpenShift.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform for consistent environment provisioning.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to streamline software deployment and release processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application, and deployment issues across distributed environments.
• Improve security, scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness across cloud-based systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform performance and delivery effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Linux systems and supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing solutions in AWS cloud environments.
• Expertise building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, or comparable tools.
• Experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments including EKS and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices using enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting financial services or retirement technology platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and platform governance best practices.
• Experience with application performance monitoring and site reliability engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and cloud-native application deployment patterns.
• Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps practices.
