Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Stator Lead Design Engineer to design generators, realize manufacturing and contractual documentation, and guide sub-contracted studies.

You will work with Project Engineering, Lead Project, and calculation engineers to meet functional requirements and ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, CATIA V5 proficiency, and experience with nuclear safety practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and PPLM/PDM tools.
• Experience with rotating electrical machines, especially generators.
• Nuclear safety culture training is required.
• Familiarity with ITNS-I/ITNS-A management and NS tagging.

Responsibilities

• Design general and assembly engineering for nuclear generators.
• Ensure delivery of engineering part lists and documentation on time and budget.
• Support improvement projects with main suppliers.
• Participate in NPI activities and knowledge sharing.
• Comply with nuclear safety requirements and quality procedures.
• Lead sub-contracted design tasks and coordinate with internal customers.

Job Description:

The Stator Lead Design Engineer will design generators, realize manufacturing and contractual documentation. He/She participates to improvement actions and manage the sub-contracted studies. He/She supports the other teams (Methods, Manufacturing, Sourcing) for all topics related to design and technical topics.

The Stator Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for the generators upgrades and new build Generators. He/She works closely with the Project Engineering Manager, Lead Project, electrical & mechanical calculation Engineers in order to get all the information required to meet the functional requirements of the targeted solution.

Responsabilities

• To realize general design engineering and manage assembly design engineers for nuclear generators.
• To ensure the delivery of the engineering part lists and documentations on time, at agreed costs, with agreed scope and in the right quality, at customer satisfaction.
• To support improvement projects with our main suppliers.
• To ensure experience feedback from our customer projects.
• To participate to NPI activities to ensure new developments, product improvements.
• To apply harmonized engineering processes and tools within the generators activity and with other disciples.
• To participate in technical meetings with internal customers, suppliers to ensure products and systems comply with technical design and specifications
• To support resolution of significant site or factory problems and queries.
• To support continuous improvement actions to reduce product costs, improve product quality and reliability.
• To follow the validation process for all deliverables in accordance with quality, time and cost
• To ensure technical representation with internal/external customers during contract activity.
• To manage the sub-contracted design tasks.
• To ensure NCR feedback experience (Lesson Learned)
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in the team.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety requirements, quality procedures and engineering integrity.

Education

Mandatory (MUST)

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of CAD (CATIA V5).
• Good knowledge of PPLM and PDM tools
• MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Good knowledge of rotating electrical machines, particularly generators.
• Trained to Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Trained to ITNS-I/ITNS-A management and NS tagging

Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)

• Good knowledge of Power Plant environment, customers and partners.
• Good knowledge of internal and international standards.
