Job summary

Mployee.me seeks a highly experienced KB - Lead Design Manager (System & MEP) for redevelopment of the CSMT Railway Station in Mumbai. You will lead the MEPF design team on a high-profile project, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with cross-disciplinary collaboration and rigorous quality control.

The ideal candidate has a Masters in Mechanical or Systems Designs with PhD, 15+ years in related sectors, and proven leadership in high-rise or large-scale facilities.

Qualifications

• Masters in Mechanical or Systems Designs is mandatory plus PhD in relevant field.
• 15+ years of experience required.
• 10+ years of prior experience in high-rise buildings/stations/commercial buildings/hotels/universities is mandatory.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and to solve problems in integrated project delivery environments.
• Self-motivated with outstanding leadership skills and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong leadership and proven ability to lead a team and troubleshoot independently.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking applications for the position of KB - Lead Design Manager (System & MEP) for Project “Redevelopment Project of CSMT Railway Station and construction of associated infrastructure, RLDA in Mumbai location".

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design team responsible for MEPF systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) for large-scale projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that are on-time and within budget.
• Oversee the development of system designs, including technical evaluations, schematics, and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments (architectural, structural, civil) to ensure integrated design solutions and resolve any potential issues related to systems integration.
• Review project specifications, timelines, and budgets to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and
