Job summary

Adani Realty is seeking a Lead – Design Management (MEP) to drive mechanical, electrical and plumbing design coordination for hospitality assets. You will align brand standards, AOC teams, consultants and vendors to ensure the built product meets codes, sustainability and governance requirements.

You will oversee design development through installation, testing and handover, collaborating with hotel operators and pre-opening teams to ensure readiness and certifications across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8–14 years of MEP design management experience in hospitality or related sectors.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV, IBMS and energy management systems.
• Ability to review calculations, load assessments and equipment sizing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP matters between brand technical services, AOC project teams, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Review MEP submissions at Concept, Schematic, DD and GFC stages for compliance.
• Lead coordination on MEP standards, equipment selection and BOH layouts; evaluate changes for feasibility and cost.
• Provide site-level oversight during installation, testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure safety, ESG and quality standards; maintain design registers and approval logs.
• Review BOQs, vendor proposals and technical specs; track design progress against milestones.

Job Purpose

The Lead – Design Management (MEP) will drive all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design coordination for hospitality assets in the Adani portfolio, aligning hotel operators / brand technical teams, Asset Owning Company (AOC) project teams, MEP consultants and vendors so that the built product meets brand standards, codes and statutory requirements, operational needs, sustainability guidelines and Adani Group governance. Reporting to the Head – Project Design & Development, the role is the MEP subject-matter expert across the hospitality pipeline, from design development through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of coordination for all MEP matters between brand technical services, AOC project teams, MEP consultants, contractors and the Hospitality Division; run structured design reviews with MOMs, action logs and deliverable tracking.
• Review and validate MEP design submissions at Concept, Schematic, DD and GFC stages for compliance with brand technical specifications, applicable codes and statutory requirements, and operational efficiency.
• Lead coordination with brand technical services on MEP standards, equipment selection, BOH layouts, HVAC strategy, kitchen and laundry, fire & life safety, water systems and sustainability directives; evaluate operator-requested changes for feasibility, cost and project impact.
• Provide site-level oversight during installation, testing, commissioning and integration of MEP systems; resolve technical issues, RFIs and deviations; support snagging, de-snagging and system handover.
• Ensure MEP works meet Adani Group standards for safety, risk, ESG and quality; guide teams on statutory MEP approvals; maintain design registers, compliance trackers, approval logs and commissioning reports.
• Review MEP BOQs, vendor proposals and technical specifications; recommend value engineering; track cost impact of design changes and MEP design progress against milestones.
• Support hotel pre-opening teams with MEP system training, handover documentation, readiness checks and final brand certifications.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline); Master's in Building Services / MEP Engineering preferred.
• 8–14 years of MEP design management experience, preferably in hospitality, mixed-use, luxury residential or commercial real estate.
• Experience with hospitality real estate developers or international hotel brands.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV, IBMS and energy management systems, design codes and green building requirements; able to review calculations, load assessments and equipment sizing.
