Job summary

Adani Realty, the real estate arm of Adani Group, seeks a Lead - Design Coordination (Architecture) to drive architectural design management for hospitality developments across the portfolio. You will oversee design governance, coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, ensure brand and regulatory compliance, and support construction and pre-opening activities.

The role requires 10–15 years in design coordination, strong hotel brand standards knowledge, and expertise in BIM-based coordination.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in architectural design or project design coordination.
• 8–10 years managing hospitality and/or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of hotel brand standards, building regulations, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Represent the asset owner on architectural design matters and interface with operators, architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, PMCs, contractors and stakeholders.
• Review and steer architectural design from Concept to GFC, evaluating functionality, guest experience, operational efficiency, maintainability, constructability and viability.
• Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, local authority and statutory requirements, fire & life safety, accessibility, and ESG standards.
• Coordinate with operators and brand technical teams; consolidate comments and secure brand approvals.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across Architecture, Interiors, MEP, Structure, Façade, Landscape, Lighting, Kitchen, Laundry, Signage, Security and consultants; lead constructability and BIM reviews.
• Lead value engineering and lifecycle-cost reviews without compromising brand positioning or guest experience; assess design changes impact on budget and schedule.
• Support construction by reviewing submittals, mock-ups and shop drawings, site reviews, RFIs and deviations, and snagging.
• Manage design governance: approvals, change control, design risk registers, records, and VE logs.
• Support commissioning, handover, as-built documentation, brand approvals and pre-opening readiness.

Job Purpose

The Lead - Design Coordination (Architecture) will act as the owner's design representative for the Asset Owning Company and lead architectural design management and coordination for hospitality developments across the Adani portfolio, ensuring designs align with project objectives, brand standards, development budgets, operational needs, sustainability commitments and Adani Group governance. Reporting to the Head - Project Design & Development, the role spans the full design lifecycle from concept through construction, handover and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the asset owner on all architectural design matters and act as the primary interface between hotel operators, architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, PMCs, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Review and steer architectural design from Concept to GFC, evaluating functionality, guest experience, operational efficiency, maintainability, constructability and commercial viability.
• Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, local authority and statutory requirements, fire & life safety, accessibility, and sustainability / ESG standards.
• Manage coordination with hotel operators and brand technical services teams; consolidate operator comments and secure timely brand approvals.
• Drive multi-disciplinary coordination across Architecture, Interiors, MEP, Structure, Façade, Landscape, Lighting, Kitchen, Laundry, Signage, Security and specialist consultants; lead constructability and BIM-based coordination reviews.
• Lead value engineering and lifecycle-cost reviews without compromising brand positioning, guest experience or quality; advise on budget and schedule impact of design changes.
• Support construction by reviewing submittals, mock-ups and shop drawings, conducting site reviews, resolving RFIs and design deviations, and supporting snagging and defect resolution.
• Run design governance: approvals, change control, design risk registers, review records, consultant deliverables and VE logs.
• Support commissioning, handover, as-built documentation, brand approvals, occupancy certification and pre-opening readiness.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent).
• 10-15 years of experience in architectural design, design management or project design coordination.
• Minimum 8-10 years managing hospitality and/or mixed-use developments.
• Strong working knowledge of hotel brand standards, building regulations, statutory approvals and integrated multi-disciplinary coordination.
