Job summary

Adani Transmission (ATL) is seeking an experienced design lead to drive architecture and interiors for master planning and development projects in Mumbai. You will manage multi-disciplinary consultants, ensure compliance with codes and specifications, and maintain design intent while balancing cost and constructability.

The role covers concept through detailed design, with emphasis on coordination, governance and timely delivery to support site execution.

Qualifications

• Essential design degrees in architecture or related fields.
• Desirable advanced degrees/certifications (LEED, BIM, etc.).
• Total work experience 6–12 years.
• Relevant experience 3–8 years.
• Seniority level: Lead or assistant manager.
• Experience with real estate development, design consultancies or master planning firms.
• Experience across concept to detailed design and coordination.
• Must balance design intent with buildability, cost and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue comprehensive design briefs covering product positioning and requirements.
• Lead design development across stages (concept to GFC) aligned with objectives.
• Manage architectural and allied consultants ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct periodic design reviews and resolve coordination issues.
• Perform detailed design checks for code compliance and safety.
• Drive timely issuance of GFC drawings and schedules.
• Provide site support through RFI responses and shop drawing reviews.
• Implement design governance including document control and approvals.
• Capture learnings and standardize templates for consistency.

Responsibilities

• 1. Develop and issue comprehensive design briefs covering product positioning, customer segments, unit mix, brand intent, cost parameters and functional requirements.


• 2. Lead design development across stages (concept, schematic, DD, GFC) ensuring alignment with business objectives, aesthetics, functionality and constructability.


• 3. Manage architectural and allied consultants (structural, MEP, fa ade, landscape, interiors) ensuring timely deliverables and coordination across disciplines.


• 4. Conduct periodic design reviews, resolve interface conflicts and ensure closure of coordination issues to avoid rework during execution.


• 5. Perform detailed design checks for accuracy, code compliance, buildability, safety and adherence to internal design standards and specifications.


• 6. Drive timely issuance of GFC drawings, details and schedules aligned to site execution plans and procurement timelines.


• 7. Provide ongoing site support through RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, mock-up approvals and coordination with project teams.


• 8. Implement design governance including document control, version management, change control workflows and approval protocols.


• 9. Capture design learnings and standardize templates, details, specifications and best practices for improved efficiency and consistency across projects.
