This role serves as a technical leader, partnering closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering teams, Operations teams, and vendors to transform strategic initiatives into executable roadmaps and successful implementations.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in NetApp, Veeam, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Automation, and AI-driven operations, while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and managing critical P1 escalations across global environments.**Required Experience*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.* 14+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Hosting, Storage, Backup, and Data Protection platforms.* 10+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp Storage technologies including ONTAP, CVO, ANF, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and enterprise storage architectures.* 8+ years of experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, Enterprise Backup Platforms, Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, and Data Protection solutions.* Strong experience with Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, Entra ID, governance, and security.* Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery models.* Experience in engineering-led product development and platform modernization initiatives.**Key Responsibilities*** Work closely with Product Owners and Architects to convert strategic initiatives into implementable engineering work.* Drive modernization initiatives from ideation, design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover across storage, backup, and cloud platforms.* Participate in PI Planning, backlog refinement, roadmap discussions, and prioritization activities.* Ensure successful execution of program deliverables while meeting quality, security, and timeline objectives.* Lead engineering teams in implementing Azure, NetApp, and Veeam solutions using best practices.* Establish reusable automation frameworks, IaC patterns, and engineering standards.* Drive adoption of DevOps, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Iac , AI to improve operational efficiency, observability, and platform reliability.* Champion innovation and continuous improvement across Data Hosting services.* Provide leadership during P1/P2 major incidents and critical escalations.* Drive root cause analysis, problem management, and preventive action planning.* Ensure platform reliability, disaster recovery readiness, and service resilience.* Support audit, compliance, cybersecurity, and risk remediation activities.* Mentor, coach, and groom engineers to develop technical depth and future leadership capabilities.* Promote knowledge sharing, design thinking, and engineering best practices.* Build SME capability across NetApp, Veeam, Azure, Automation, and AI domains.**Technical Skills****NetApp Storage & Veeam Backup Technologies*** Architecture, solution design, implementation, migration, capacity planning, and performance optimization* NetApp ONTAP (Clustered Mode / C-Mode)* NetApp FAS, AFF, Azure NetApp Files (ANF), Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)* NAS and SAN technologies across enterprise environments* NFS, SMB/CIFS, Mixed Security Style, iSCSI* FlexCache, FlexClone, Snapshots, Quotas* Storage lifecycle management and data governance* Performance tuning and troubleshooting* SnapMirror, SnapLock, FlexClone* NetApp Ransomware Protection and Cyber Vault concepts* Backup, recovery, replication, and business continuity strategies* Veeam Backup & Replication* Enterprise backup architecture and modernization* Backup governance, retention management, and compliance* Disaster Recovery (DR) and Cyber Recovery solution design**Cloud & Modern Infrastructure*** Microsoft Azure, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Storage Services* Hybrid cloud architecture and migration strategies* Cloud security, governance, and operational excellence* Infrastructure modernization and platform transformation**DevOps & AI*** Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines* PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible* Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and workflow automation* AI-driven operations, observability, predictive monitoring, and intelligent remediationChevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world.
