Chevron ENGINE in Bengaluru is seeking a Cloud Developer with strong C#/.NET expertise to design, enhance, and support a .NET-based orchestration framework powering Azure Update Manager across hybrid enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on Azure Functions, Service Bus, REST API integration, and security/compliance in large-scale systems. 10–18 years of experience preferred, with opportunities to contribute to Chevron's global energy initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong C#/.NET expertise for enterprise-grade development.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, including production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus (Queues/Topics) and REST API integrations.
  • Familiarity with event-driven orchestration workflows and inventory/scoping mechanisms like Azure Resource Graph.
  • Exposure to cloud automation/orchestration for patching and platform automation.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting production systems in enterprise settings.
  • Awareness of security/compliance controls in large organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance, and support a .NET-based orchestration framework powering Azure Update Manager across hybrid environments.
  • Provide hands-on development in C#/.NET Core for enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement Azure Functions for event-driven or scheduled tasks and integrate with Azure Service Bus.
  • Work with REST APIs (ServiceNow / Azure) and maintain security/compliance considerations.
  • Support and troubleshoot production systems and optimize orchestration workflows.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Developer with strong C#/.NET expertise to design, enhance, and support a .NET-based orchestration framework powering Azure Update Manager (AUM). The platform enables large-scale, automated, and compliant patching across hybrid enterprise environments using event-driven Azure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core (enterprise-grade development).

  • Looking at 10- 18 yrs experience candidates for the role.

  • Azure Functions – mandatory production experience (event-driven or scheduled)

  • Experience with Azure Service Bus (Queues / Topics)

  • Understanding of event-driven orchestration workflows

  • Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs (ServiceNow and/or Azure APIs)

  • Working knowledge of Azure Resource Graph or similar inventory/scoping mechanisms

  • Exposure to cloud automation / orchestration (patching, scheduling, platform automation)

  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting production systems

  • Comfortable working in enterprise environments with security and compliance controls

Preferred Skills
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline experience

  • Exposure to enterprise patching or OS lifecycle management

  • Understanding of multi-time zone maintenance windows

  • Experience aligning automation with cybersecurity standards

  • Microsoft Certifications: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
