MAX STREICHER S.p.A. is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for its Oil & Gas division, based at HQ in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with regular travel to centers and project sites.

You will lead civil/structural activities across major EPC projects, oversee design reviews, and ensure compliance with international standards and client specs. The role requires 18+ years in oil & gas, leading EPC disciplines, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in Civil & Structural Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as Civil/Structural Discipline Lead Engineer on major EPC projects (Greenfield and Brownfield).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in structural design and analysis software.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate Civil & Structural Engineering activities for Onshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Oversee the design and review of structures, foundations, pipe racks, and buildings.
• Manage engineering teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Construction disciplines.
• Participate in Reviews (Plot Plan, HAZOP, Constructability, Model, Design).
• Support procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Review vendor documentation and resolve technical queries and site issues.
• Support Brownfield modifications, tie-ins and shutdown activities.

MAX STREICHER S.p.A. is a leading EPC contractor operating in the Oil & Gas sector (pipelines & plants). Our subsidiary, MAX STREICHER Saudi Arabia Contracting Co. L.L.C., is currently involved in the execution of major energy infrastructure projects for international clients, including Saudi Aramco.

Posizione

For our Engineering Department, we are looking for a Lead Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector to lead and coordinate Civil & Structural Engineering activities across major EPC projects, both Greenfield and Brownfield.

The role will be responsible for managing all Civil and Structural Engineering activities throughout Conceptual Studies, FEED, Bids, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and client specifications.

Main Activities

• Lead and coordinate Civil & Structural Engineering activities for Onshore Oil & Gas projects;
• Oversee the design and review of structural steel structures, reinforced concrete works, equipment foundations, pipe racks, industrial buildings, drainage systems, and underground infrastructure;
• Manage engineering teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality and schedule compliance;
• Coordinate Civil & Structural interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Construction disciplines;
• Participate in Plot Plan Reviews, HAZOP Studies, Constructability Reviews, Model Reviews, and Design Reviews;
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities;
• Review vendor documentation and resolve technical queries, site issues, deviations, and field modifications;
• Support Brownfield modifications, tie-in works, and shutdown activities.

Requisiti

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline;
• Minimum 18 years of experience in Civil & Structural Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry;
• Proven experience as Civil/Structural Discipline Lead Engineer on major EPC projects, with extensive experience in Greenfield and Brownfield projects, including Conceptual Studies, FEED, and EPC Detailed Engineering phases;
• Strong knowledge of structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, equipment foundations, pipe racks, industrial buildings, drainage systems, underground utilities, and geotechnical reviews, including experience in seismic, wind, and dynamic load analysis;
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SACS, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Navisworks;
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international project environments;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
