Business Finance Lead

We are currently retained by a Startup to hire a Business Finance Lead. The Business Finance Lead will be responsible for end-to-end business finance responsibility with a focus on Business Impact.

Please note that this role requires a CA (non-negotiable) with startup experience.

The role will oversee financial control, risk management, and compliance. The person will be responsible for bringing financial discipline by ensuring that the flow of money is tracked and recorded. Also, ensure proper systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Business Management Office in business priorities/trade-offs.
• Bring financial insights to drive accountability, efficiency, and growth opportunities.
• Budgeting, Forecast, and planning for P&L on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and detailed variance analysis.
• Partner with support organizations like HR, Communications, to drive various business initiatives and P&L accountability.
• Develop revenue models and pricing strategies to support profitability and growth.
• Optimize the Revenue process by driving efficiency through automation and Technology.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong presentation skills required to present financial results to management and the ability to influence others.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, debt management, and alliances.
• Ability to Lead the team through Changes and drive Changes.
• Ability to Influence and Impact stakeholders.
