Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to collaborate with customers and Product Office to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories. You will drive testing, demos, UAT, and post go-live support while ensuring alignment with KPIs and global processes.

You will work across front-end and back-end technologies, including Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, .NET 8, and Azure services, contributing to a robust, scalable digital product.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Back-end development with .NET 8 and strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks (Xunit, NUnit) and Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers/Product Office to gather requirements.

• Develop user cases, requirement specifications and document user guides.
• Perform functional testing and develop test cases.
• Participate in and conduct product demos.

• 8+ years of experience as Business Analyst.
• Creating and analysing functional specifications, both As Is and To Be, using Ayvens GPS (Global Process Structure)
• Capturing business needs from stakeholders, translating and documenting these into clear user stories or other business artefacts (BRDs, SRSs, FRDs, RTMs etc.)
• Organize and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders to gather requirements and draft To Be processes
• Ensuring that the requirements and/or user stories can be connected and mapped on the right processes.
• Ensuring that proper acceptance criteria have been defined.
• Ensuring each requirement are mapped to business and product KPIS. With measurements in place for tracking.
• If measurements are not in place, to work with development teams to design and build measurements.
• Able to understand data measured and work with product managers to propose improvements to global process that the product drives.
• Support development teams to design solution based on requirements (user stories)
• Provide clear requirements (user stories) for the developers to build and implement technology solutions
• Assisting in the roll-out of developed products.
• I - Preparing and running User Acceptance Tests
• Preparing and executing training after successful User Acceptance Tests
• Provide post go-live support, that could lead to new user stories and improvements to the digital product
• Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
• Filling in for the Product Manager or Head of Product and/or scrum master when needed

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain product codebase, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in both development and production environments, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, with a focus on building new features and providing ongoing support.

Technical Skills

• Experience in front-end technologies, with Angular, Typescript and Node.js.
• Proficient in back-end development using .NET 8, strong debugging and issue solving skills.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks, such as Xunit and Nunit, to ensure high-quality software delivery. Knowledge of Mountebank is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud services, including Application Insights, CosmosDB, Table Storage Accounts, and Azure Functions, for scalable and efficient application management.
