Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Analytics, Automation, or Technology delivery environments.
• Experience in the Quality and Safety (QHSE) domain is beneficial, incl. quality metrics and safety reporting.
• Ability to draft clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Ability to translate data into business insight for management audiences.
• Business-user level proficiency in Power BI and Power Apps; deep technical build not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly BI-based reports with analysis across the QHSE area for Operations Management, KAM, and Projects.
• Interface for the development of BI reports in the QHSE area; translate needs into requirements and user stories.
• Coordinate maintenance of BI reports and Power Apps; ensure stability and improvements.
• Coordinate Power Apps development, gather requirements, and support rollout.
• Maintain an overview of QHSE BI and automation assets and drive new solutions from intake to delivery.
• Facilitate requirement ideation via workshops and convert outcomes into actionable user stories.
• Maintain and refine the QHSE product backlog; ensure readiness for development.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage JIRA intake for QHSE requests.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Automation, Data Engineering, and Product Owners for timely delivery.
• Track delivery progress, communicate risks, and align priorities with QHSE management.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst (Analytics & Automation) to serve as the coordination layer between the Quality, Safety & Environment (QHSE) function and the Corporate Analytics & Automation team. The role focuses on requirement gathering, BI and Power App delivery coordination, and monthly reporting with analysis across the QHSE area, strengthening resilience, continuity, and a scalable, governed delivery model.

This is a functional role and does not involve people management or hands-on development. A working understanding of BI and Power Platform tools at a business-user level is sufficient — the focus is on requirements, coordination, and analysis rather than technical build. It requires strong ownership, domain understanding of Quality and Safety, attention to detail, effective stakeholder communication, and the ability to actively participate in Agile delivery to reduce dependency on individual resources and ensure predictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly BI-based reports with analysis across the QHSE area — including Quality Levels, Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), and Safety Data — for Operations Management, Key Account Management (KAM), and Projects.
• Act as the interface for the development of BI reports in the QHSE area, translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Act as the interface for the maintenance of BI reports in the QHSE area, coordinating issue resolution, enhancements, and continuity of existing Power BI reports.
• Act as the interface for the development of Power Apps in the QHSE area, gathering requirements and coordinating build and rollout.
• Act as the interface for the maintenance of Power Apps in the QHSE area, ensuring stability, issue resolution, and ongoing improvements.
• Maintain a facilitated overview of all QHSE BI and automation assets, and coordinate the development of new solutions from intake to delivery.
• Facilitate requirement ideation through workshops with QHSE stakeholders and convert outcomes into actionable user stories.
• Maintain and refine the QHSE product backlog, ensuring user stories are well defined, prioritised, and ready for development.
• Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage the JIRA intake workflow for QHSE requests, ensuring quality, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Automation, Data Engineering, Product Owners) to enable timely and high-quality delivery.
• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and impediments, and support monthly stakeholder alignment with QHSE management on priorities.
• Ensure SLA-driven delivery, governance compliance, and documentation quality across user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement specifications.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Analytics, Automation, or Technology delivery environments.
• Prior experience with, and understanding of, the Quality and Safety (QHSE) domain is beneficial — including familiarity with quality metrics, CoPQ, and safety reporting.
• Experience gathering requirements for BI, Analytics, or Automation (Power Platform) projects.
• Ability to produce reports with analysis and translate data into business insight for management audiences.
• Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Working understanding of Power BI and Power Apps at a business-user level — sufficient to interpret reports, articulate requirements, and coordinate the develop/maintain lifecycle. Developer-level technical expertise in these tools is not required.
• Exposure to Agile delivery through Scrum methodologies, and to JIRA intake and backlog management.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, documentation discipline, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Process orientation with a mindset for resilience, continuity, and continuous improvement.
• General familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps as a business user (viewing, navigating, and validating solutions).
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with QHSE business users, preparing test scenarios and facilitating validation of solutions against defined acceptance criteria.

Good to Have:

• Prior experience supporting a Quality, Safety & Environment (QHSE) or manufacturing/operations function.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of data lifecycle, analytics concepts, or automation pipelines.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, CSPO, PSM) are an added advantage.
