Qualifications

• Strong portfolio across commercial, corporate, editorial photography.

Responsibilities

• Lead photography projects from planning through final delivery.
• Scout locations, create shotlists, and determine camera and lighting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with photo editors to ensure high-quality retouched images.
• Oversee organization, tagging, and archiving of photography assets.
• Manage photography equipment inventory and coordinate rentals when needed.
• Lead and mentor a small team of photographers and photo editors.

About the role

The Lead, Photography will oversee photographycreative direction, production, and operations across the Roundglass ecosystem.This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality visual storytelling,managing photography workflows, and leading a small team of photographers andphoto editors. The position reports to the Senior Lead, Visual Design.

What you’ll do

VisualStorytelling

• Partner with photographers,photo editors, designers, and marketing teams to create compelling visualstories that support initiatives.
• Develop and maintain aconsistent visual style across all photography projects.
• Identify opportunities toleverage both existing and new photography assets.

Photography Production

• Lead photography projects fromplanning through final delivery.
• Scout locations, create shotlists, and determine camera and lighting requirements.
• Ensure photo shoots areexecuted efficiently and meet creative expectations.

Post-Production

• Collaborate closely with photoeditors to ensure images are retouched and finalized to high-quality standards.
• Maintain consistency inediting, color, and overall visual presentation.

Asset Management &Archiving

• Oversee the organization,tagging, and achieving photography assets.
• Work with relevant teams toensure assets are easily accessible and properly maintained.

EquipmentManagement

• Manage photography equipmentinventory and maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment rentalswhen needed and recommend new purchases.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small team ofphotographers and photo editors.
• Provide guidance, feedback, andprofessional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative andcreative team environment.

CreativeExcellence

• Staycurrent on photography trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Bringa modern visual aesthetic andcreative perspective to all projects.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong portfoliodemonstrating commercial, corporate, editorial, or visual storytellingphotography.
• Advanced knowledge ofAdobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Brandfolder (or similar DAMplatforms), and photography workflows.
• Strong communication andcollaboration skills.
• Ability to workindependently, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
• Strong organizational andproject management skills.

Education &Experience

• Degree in Photography,Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalentprofessional experience.
• 10+ years of professionalexperience in photography, photo editing, or photo production.
• Previous experience leading photography teams is preferred.
