MediaMint in Hyderabad is seeking a hands-on Lead Backend Engineer to build and scale AI-driven automation platforms for global clients.

You will own end-to-end AI projects, deploy LLM-powered solutions, and work with OpenAI and cloud APIs. The role requires strong Python backend skills, production debugging, and a mentor mindset to guide engineering teams across projects.

• Lead end-to-end AI projects from discovery to production.
• Collaborate with global clients to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and enforce engineering best practices.

Hiring: Lead Backend Engineer | AI Systems MediaMint is looking for a highly hands-on engineering lead with exceptional problem-solving and debugging capability to build and scale AI-driven automation platforms for global clients. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving ambiguous real-world operational challenges, debugging complex production workflows, and building scalable AI-powered systems from the ground up.

What You’ll Work On:

• Build and deploy LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, and AI automation systems using Python
• Design and implement agentic AI workflows using LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen
• Integrate OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, REST APIs, and third-party platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across workflows, APIs, and automation pipelines
• Lead end-to-end AI implementation projects from discovery through production deployment
• Partner with global clients to translate business problems into scalable engineering solutions
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across implementation teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Backend (Python) engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with APIs, automation systems, and production debugging
• Experience building LLM/AI-agent based systems
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• Exposure to Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Salesforce, Jira, or Zendesk
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AI quality frameworks and guardrails

Location: Hyderabad Budget: Up to INR 50 LPA
