Job summary

Techjays is seeking an experienced AI Lead Engineer to architect and build scalable Python backend systems powering AI-native applications for global clients.

You will design RAG pipelines, LLMS integrations and intelligent workflows, work with vector databases like Pinecone/ChromaDB, and guide a team of AI engineers from design to deployment. Hybrid work in Coimbatore with global client exposure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend Python experience.
• Lead/Tech Lead experience preferred.
• Expert-level in Django/Flask, RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Strong AWS/GCP, Docker and CI/CD experience.
• Hands-on with RAG, LLMs and Vector Databases (Pinecone/ChromaDB).
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) & Multi-Agent Systems.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced AI Lead Engineer who can architect, build, and lead scalable Python backend systems powering AI-native applications for global clients.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and lead scalable, secure Python backend systems powering AI-native applications
• Design and implement RAG pipelines, LLM integrations & intelligent workflows
• Work with Vector Databases, Agentic AI workflows & Multi-Agent systems
• Own features end-to-end — from design through deployment and monitoring
• Mentor and guide a team of AI engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — frontend, data science & product

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Python
• Prior Lead / Tech Lead experience is strongly preferred
• Expert-level skills in Django/Flask, RESTful APIs & WebSockets
• Strong experience with AWS / GCP, Docker & CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with RAG, LLMs & Vector Databases (Pinecone / ChromaDB)
• Knowledge of LangChain / LlamaIndex, Prompt Engineering & Agentic AI workflows
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) & Multi-Agent Systems
• Strong ownership, structured thinking & clear communication skills
