Job summary

Endurance Technologies in Pune is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to plan and execute automation projects in collaboration with Plant, Manufacturing Engineering, and cross-functional teams. You will own the technical and engineering aspects of these initiatives.

You will identify automation opportunities in Pressure Die Casting and Machine Shop operations to boost productivity, drive cost optimization, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure successful project delivery within timelines

Qualifications

• Experience leading automation projects in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of automation in PDC and machine shop operations.
• Hands-on engineering ownership of automation initiatives and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute automation projects in collaboration with Plant, ME, and cross-functional teams.
• Identify automation opportunities in PDC and Machine Shop operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Take responsibility for all technical and engineering aspects of automation projects.
• Ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budgets.
• Drive cost optimization through innovative automation solutions and technical expertise.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and implementation of automation projects.
• Monitor project performance, savings, equipment utilization, power consumption, tool consumption, water usage, and AMC costs.
• Improve equipment reliability by reducing MTTR and enhancing MTBF.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, technical and safety requirements during project executions and installation.
