Job summary

Davies is seeking a Lead-DevOps Engineer to automate and support delivery of Data and AI products. You will design GitHub workflows, build CI/CD for Fabric, Power BI, and data engineering, and collaborate with security and product teams to automate deployments and monitoring.

The role requires 6+ years in DevOps or related fields, hands-on experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure as code, and strong collaboration skills to translate delivery needs into scalable DevOps solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or software delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, source control, branching models, pull requests, release automation, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Azure services, infrastructure as code, scripting, APIs, and data platform delivery.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate delivery needs into scalable DevOps solutions

Responsibilities

• Design GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull request standards, and source control practices for Fabric workspaces and data products.
• Build CI/CD processes for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data engineering, analytics, and AI delivery across dev, test, and production.
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, security, and product teams to automate deployments, testing, release management, and monitoring.
• Develop reusable DevOps patterns, scripts, templates, documentation, and standards that improve speed, quality, traceability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployments, manage configurations, support workspace integration, and promote secure, scalable platform operations.
