Davies is recruiting for a Lead Associate - SQL Developer in Pune to design and maintain the data architecture and pipelines. You will lead BI/data initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive scalable data solutions using Microsoft technologies.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data engineering, ETL optimization, and delivering actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and business performance. This is a permanent full-time post in IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related field.
• Ability to build and optimize data sets, 'big data' data pipelines and architectures with ADF.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions
• 3-5 years experience managing BI or Data team.
• Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency and metadata
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the preparation of reports and presentations for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional requirements using the medallion architecture.
• Design internal processes improvements including redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes via metadata orchestration.
• Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various sources using Microsoft technologies (Azure Data Factory, Fabric, SQL Server, PowerBI).
• Build analytical tools to leverage the data pipeline and provide insights on key performance metrics like efficiency and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across data, design, product and executive teams and assist with data-related issues.
• Support data infrastructure needs with executives, product, data and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

We're on the lookout for a full time Data Engineer . As a Data Engineer you will be building and maintaining the foundational data architecture and engineering practices for Davies North America. In addition to creating and maintaining an optimal pipeline architecture, typical duties and responsibilities for a Data Engineer position may include:

• Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements using the medallion architecture.
