Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Mumbai to lead post-sales design support for IBMS and gas-based suppression systems, including fire detection, coordinating regional design engineers.

You will review technical specs, prepare submittals, shop drawings, schematics, and ensure on-time delivery with zero customer complaints while collaborating with architects, clients and contractors. Strong IBMS knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Electrical or Instrumentation is required or equivalent.
• Strong IBMS knowledge and experience with fire alarm and security systems preferred.
• 8 to 15 years' experience in designing and project management for IBMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to deliver on time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate adherence to processes to drive efficiency and zero customer complaints.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support as a Project manager managing the design engineers of the region, who deliver post sales design on IBMS & Gas Based Suppression system including Fire detection system.

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Shop drawing for customer approval and execution.
• Preparation of schematics, P&ID, isometrics layout Knowledge in preparing hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule e.tc.
• Ensure execution of the projects with zero customer complaints
• Technical competency of all kinds of firefighting system like
  • Fire alarm & Public Address System
  • Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system.
  • BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency

What we look for

• Engineer (Degree/ Diploma) Electronic/Electrical/Instrumentation
• Good knowledge on IBMS Industry
• 8 to 15 years of designingExpertise on IBMS.
