Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced professional for Post Sales Design Support on IBMS & Gas Based Suppression systems, including Fire detection. You will review project specs, prepare submittals, and coordinate with architects, clients and contractors to ensure compliance and high-quality delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS installations, with a strong focus on time-bound delivery and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BE: Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS.
• 8–10 years in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS installation and end-to-end project commissioning.
• Working experience in product testing domains.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specification of projects to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and RFQs with suppliers.
• Prepare compliance documents and perform cost comparisons.
• Demonstrate technical competency in fire alarm, security, CCTV, ACS, physical security, intruder systems; BMS for GA & shop drawings; gaseous systems.
• Coordinate with architects, clients and contractors at various stages of the project.
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on IBMS & Gas Based Suppression system including Fire detection system.

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Sending RFQ with supplier.
• Preparation of Compliance document and cost comparison.
• Technical competency of below systems
  • Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system.
  • BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency

What we look for

• BE: Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS
• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS Installation and End to end project commissioning experience. Working experience in product testing domains
• Time bound delivery of project deliverables
