Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mumbai seeks a seasoned engineer to support post-sales design for ELV, CCTV, ACS and Fire Alarm systems. You will review specs, prepare submittals and shop drawings, and coordinate with architects, clients and contractors to ensure flawless project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in FAS, PA, Security, BMS and GSS, with BE Electrical & Electronics. Python scripting and Windows testing skills are a bonus.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is required.
• Hands-on experience with IBMS, GSS and FDS.
• 3–8 years in FAS, PA, Security, BMS and GSS.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to deliver projects on time with minimal changes.
• Experience designing standards and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and shop drawings for approval.
• Create schematics, P&ID, isometrics; assist with hydraulics, SOP, and DDC schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors at project stages.
• Ensure zero customer complaints through accurate execution.
• Provide expertise on fire alarm, CCTV, ACS, security, BMS, and GSS systems.
• Coordinate gaseous systems (FM-200, CO2, inert gas) as needed.
• Demonstrate adherence to process requirements to drive efficiency.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on ELV, CCTV, ACS & Fire Alarm System

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Shop drawing for customer approval and execution.
• Preparation of schematics, P&ID, isometrics layout Knowledge in preparing hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule e.tc.
• Ensure execution of the projects with zero customer complaints
• Technical competency of below listed systems
• Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system. BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
• Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency
