Job summary

RiDiK in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead end-to-end testing of Android AOSP-based devices and platform customizations.

You will design automation frameworks, validate Android framework, HAL, middleware, and system services, and improve test coverage across the platform. The role also includes mentoring QA engineers and ensuring robust CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Experience in Android test automation across AOSP-based devices.
• Ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting of CTS failures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for Android AOSP-based devices and platform customizations.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve CTS failures in collaboration with development teams.
• Perform functional, regression, stability, and performance testing.
• Automate test execution using Java/C++/Python, JUnit, UI Automator, and Espresso.
• Work with ADB, Fastboot, Logcat, and Dumpsys for device-level debugging.
• Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Android, firmware, and development teams.
• Mentor QA/automation engineers and drive test coverage and quality improvements.
