Job summary

Okta seeks a Senior Xactly Incent Analyst to partner with Commissions Operations and Sales to drive strategic and operational projects on the Xactly system for incentive compensation. You will scale Xactly Extend to meet growing business needs and design end‑to‑end solutions with a focus on data integrations and automation.

The role requires occasional overlap with US Pacific Time during onboarding, month‑end close, and other as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in Sales Compensation systems with Xactly Extend, Incent and Connect.
• Xactly Extend platform: configuration, testing, deployment, production support.
• Xactly Incent (L1–L3) certification.
• Xactly Connect: configuration, testing, deployment, production support.
• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and data flow from Salesforce to Xactly.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; technical capability to support Sales Compensation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy low‑code apps and workflows using Xactly Extend.
• Gather, document, develop and migrate Xactly Extend per business requirements.
• Develop custom AI agents using Xactly Extend.
• Collaborate with Sales Commissions and Finance to support end‑to‑end software development for Xactly configurations/implementations.
• Manage end‑to‑end data integrations, ETL pipelines, and secure file transfers between Xactly and core systems.
• Configure annual plans and mid‑year developments to support business operations.
• Design, test, document, and deploy high‑quality solutions on Xactly Extend.
• Gather, document, develop, and migrate Xactly Incent code per business needs.
• Implement improvements and new functionality in Xactly.
• Build, maintain BAU and production support; work on projects and programs.
• Research Xactly tech trends and communicate future needs to leadership.
• Investigate integration issues with internal/external stakeholders.
• Participate in data integrations and migration solutions.

The (Title) Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Xactly Incent Analyst who can work very closely with the Commissions Operation and Sales Commissions team on strategic, organizational and operational projects designed for the Xactly system to successfully support Incentive Compensations.

A strong candidate will be a key driver of systems and process improvements across the Org. You’ll also scale Xactly to meet future business needs as the company grows.

Due to the Business criticality, this role will be required to work with a few hours overlap of US (Pacific Time) hours during the onboarding/training process and month end close and/or as required.

What you’ll be doing

• Subject matter expert in designing, building, and deploying custom low-code applications, workflows, and tailored user workspaces using Xactly Extend to automate complex compensation processes, approvals, and exception management.
• Gathering, documenting, developing and migrating Xactly Extend as per Business requirements.
• Developing custom AI agents using Xactly Extend.
• Partner with Sales Commissions Business and Finance teams to support the end to end software development cycle of Xactly Incent configurations/ implementations.
• Manage end-to-end data integrations, ETL pipelines, and secure file transfers using Xactly Connect between Xactly and core enterprise systems.
• Build the annual plan configuration and mid-year developments to support Business operations.
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality technical solutions on the Xactly platform (Extend) based on industry best practices
• Gathering, documenting, developing and migrating Xactly Incent code as per Business requirements.
• Manage the process of implementing improvements and adding new functionality in the Xactly.
• Build, maintain and Support BAU, Production support requests and also work on projects and major programs/initiatives.
• Research and keep updated on Xactly technology and communicate trends and future needs related to Connect to leadership.
• Investigate integration issues and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participates in data integrations and migration solutions.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree or higher / equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with and building Sales Compensation systems in a professional, fast-paced environment using Xactly Extend, Incent and Connect.
• Xactly Extend platform development experience (Solutioning, configuring, testing, deployment and production support).
• Xactly Incent (L1, L2 and L3 levels) certified.
• Xactly Connect platform development experience (Configuring, testing, deployment and production support).
• Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce) and how the data flows from Salesforce into Xactly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a technical capability to support Sales Compensation systems.
• Strong business relationship and partnership skills and experience.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to operate collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, Self-motivated, independent, and focused on continuous skill development and expansive learning.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under challenging timelines.

• Hands on experience with Xactly Analytics, Reporting
• Knowledge about Xactly Connect integrations and automations
• Domain experience in Sales Commissions and Finance systems
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, Workday, Greenhouse, Anaplan, ETL Applications (Snowflake/Informatica)
