Job summary

AeroShul Technologies is seeking a Lead Aero Structure Engineer to design the structural architecture of high‑performance UAVs, integrating aero structures and control systems for flying prototypes.

You will own the 6DOF flight model by combining CFD-derived coefficients and mass properties, and you must have physically prototyped and tested mechanical systems. Strong CAD skills and CFRP experience are preferred.

• Experience: 3-6 years in Aerospace R&D
• Tool Proficiency: SolidWorks/Siemens NX/CATIA with large assemblies
• Builder requirement: must have prototyped, built and tested a mechanical system

Job Description

The Role: As a Lead Aero Structure Engineer, you will be responsible to design the structural architecture of high-performance UAVs which includes complex aero structures, control systems and mechanisms to actual flying prototypes.

Own the 6DOF Model: You will take the aerodynamic co-efficient from the CFD Analysis done by the Aerospace Engineer and mass properties from the Materials Engineer to build a high fidelity flight model.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a Tier-1 Institute (IITs, BITS, NITs, or global top 100).
• Experience: 3-6 years of professional experience in Aerospace R&D.
  
• Tool Proficiency: You must have designed physical hardware before, and be able to manage large assemblies (100+ parts) without errors. Additionally, e xpert-level mastery of SolidWorks or Siemens NX or CATIA.
  
• This is a "Builder" Requirement and not for Analysts: You must have physically prototyped, built, and tested a mechanical system yourself.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Carbon Fibre (CFRP), mould design and layup schedules.
  
• Specific experience designing deployment mechanisms (hinges, latches, spring-loaded actuators).
  
• Proficiency in ANSYS or Abaqus for Static Structural analysis.
  
• Proficiency in MATLAB.
