Job summary

SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited in Chennai (Ambattur) is seeking a Lead Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, payroll processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and financial reporting.

The candidate will prepare P&L, Balance Sheets, MIS, and coordinate audits while ensuring GST, TDS, PF, and ESI filings are accurate and timely. 3–7 years' experience and strong Excel/ERP skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce/ accounting or finance.
• 3-7 years of experience in accounting, payroll, taxation, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, payroll processing, and statutory filings.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Create and maintain ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Process monthly payroll and employee settlements.
• Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports, Balance Sheets, MIS reports, and financial statements.
• Support audits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, payroll processing, statutory compliance, taxation, invoicing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian statutory regulations.
