Key Responsibilities

• Laundry Collection and Processing:
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner when collecting laundry items from guest rooms.
  • Sort and label laundry items according to established procedures.
  • Check for stains, damages, or special care instructions on items before processing.
• Laundry Handling and Equipment Operation:
  • Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers, following guidelines to ensure proper cleaning and drying.
  • Use appropriate detergents and chemicals as needed for different fabrics.
  • Handle laundry items carefully to prevent damage or shrinkage.
• Efficient Workflow:
  • Prioritize laundry items based on guest requests and delivery times.
  • Organize the laundry room and work area to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Guest Interaction:
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Communicate laundry procedures and turnaround times clearly to guests.
• Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an organized inventory of clean and processed laundry items.
  • Restock laundry supplies and report low inventory levels to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect laundered items for quality and ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
  • Address any stains or issues before delivering items to guests.
• Delivery and Presentation:
  • Deliver clean and pressed laundry items to guest rooms in a timely and presentable manner.
  • Pay attention to detail when folding and arranging items.
• Safety and Hygiene:
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assistance to the Supervisor:
  • Assist the Laundry Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager with tasks such as inventory tracking and reporting.
