Job summary

Communications Test Design India Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Laptop Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair laptop hardware at board level. You will perform component-level repair, OS/software troubleshooting, BIOS updates and ensure SLA compliance.

The role requires 1+ year experience in laptop repair, strong hardware skills, soldering/desoldering is a plus, and good communication with customers. On-site work at Jayanagar/Whitefield locations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in laptop repair or laptop technician roles.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and component-level repair skills.
• Knowledge of laptop motherboards and electronic components.
• Experience with soldering/desoldering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair laptop hardware issues at board/component level.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and replacement.
• Handle motherboard, display, keyboard, battery, charging, RAM, SSD/HDD and other hardware issues.
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Carry out OS installation, software loading, BIOS updates and flashing.
• Use diagnostic tools and follow proper troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform repair testing and final quality checks before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate repair/service records in the ticketing or service management system.
• Ensure repairs are completed within defined SLA/TAT.
• Follow ESD, safety and service-center quality standards.
