Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a landscape architect for its India operations (GDSC) in Noida/Bengaluru. You will contribute to conceptual and technical landscape design across building projects in Buildings market, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a degree in Landscape Architecture, 4+ years' experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and visualization tools. UAE/Middle East project exposure is preferred; strong communication and client interaction skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of continuous experience delivering landscape architecture projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and rendering tools.
  • Experience on UAE / Middle East projects is preferred.
  • Strong client interaction and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support conceptual and technical landscape design across the full scope.
  • Translate concepts into detailed designs; assist senior staff.
  • Develop plan layouts, sections, elevations in hand sketches and CAD.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team; take tasks independently.
  • Assist developing grading plans for functional, accessible landscapes.

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.

Key Deliverables
  • Support to create strong conceptual and technical landscape design throughout the full scope.
  • Translate concepts into detailed designs, support senior staff in creating functional and visually compelling spaces.
  • Develop plan layouts, sections, and elevations graphically and technically in hand sketches & computer environment with an eye for precision and clarity.
  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team, take on tasks independently.
  • Assist developing grading plans that ensure functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
Candidate Specification:-

Professional Experience :

  • Minimum 4 years of continuous experience in delivering landscape architecture projects for all design stages
Essential Skills & Software :
  • Good knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and sustainable design practices.
  • Fluent in written and verbal communication.
  • UAE / Middle East project experience.
  • Required skills in proficient level:
  • Client interaction
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
  • SketchUp
  • Lumion
  • Preferable skills:
  • Ability to do clean and presentable hand sketchesCivil 3D (for grading modelling)
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
