Job summary

Aditya Birla Renewables Limited seeks a senior Land Acquisition lead to drive end-to-end land activities for wind, solar and hybrid projects in Karnataka. You will build land parcels, manage stakeholders including communities and government officials, and oversee due diligence, registrations, and disputes.

The role requires 12–14 years in land acquisition within renewables or related sectors, with deep Karnataka land-law knowledge and strong government liaison skills.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of experience in land acquisition within Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Transmission, or Industrial sectors.
• Strong exposure to Wind, Solar, Hybrid, and/or BESS projects.
• Deep understanding of Karnataka land laws, revenue administration, registration, mutation and land aggregation processes.
• Proven government liaisoning and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience leading land acquisition teams for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end land acquisition, land aggregation, leasing, and purchase activities.

• Resolve RoW, compensation, and land-related disputes.
• Coordinate with Project Development, Engineering, Legal, Environment, and Finance teams to ensure timely land availability.
• Manage consultants, aggregators, survey agencies, and liaison partners.
• Drive land acquisition progress tracking, MIS reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Lead and mentor field teams while ensuring governance and compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 12-14 years of experience in Land Acquisition within Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Transmission, or Industrial sectors.
• Strong exposure to Wind, Solar, Hybrid, and/or BESS projects.
• Deep understanding of Karnataka land laws, revenue administration, registration, mutation, and land aggregation processes.
• Proven experience in government liaisoning and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading land acquisition teams for large-scale projects.
• Exposure to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, or Kerala will be an advantage.

Qualification

• Full-time Graduation (Mandatory)
• MBA / PGDM preferred
• Degree in Law, Agriculture, Engineering, Rural Management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
