A leading biotechnology research center in Thiruvananthapuram is inviting applications for two Lab Technicians for a project on wastewater surveillance. Candidates should have a BSc or a 3-year engineering diploma, with preference given to those with at least 2 years of experience. The position is for a year and can be extended based on performance. Applications are invited from suitable candidates (IndianCitizens) for TWO positions of Lab Technicians inthe BIRAC project entitled “Expansion of INSACOG- WastewaterSurveillance of SARS CoV-2, Emerging Pathogens and AntimicrobialResistance through Genomics- Based methods” of Dr.Radhakrishnan R Nair, Scientist F at Rajiv Gandhi Centre forBiotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Essential Qualifications

• BSc Graduation /3-year diploma in Engineering and Technology.

Desirable Qualifications

• Candidates with atleast 2 years’ experience is preferred.

Age

Below 35 years as on Dec 31 st , 2025. Age relaxationwill be given as per Govt. of India norms.

Emolument

Duration

Initially for a period of one year or till termination of theproject whichever is earlier and extendable based on theperformance evaluation.

Selection Process
