Job description

ROLLING ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY POSITIONS OF LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST INTERN

Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens) for LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST INTERN in the Public Health Research & Services Programme – CMLS Units of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) located at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Kottayam Districts. The applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be scrutinized and evaluated on quarterly basis.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from approved Universities/ Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DME approved)

Age

Below 30 years as on December 31, 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.

Emolument

A consolidated pay of ₹ 10,000/- per month.

Duration

Initially for a period of one year and extendable based on performance evaluation on yearly basis.

Selection Process

• Last date for receiving completed applications is December 31, 2026. The application portal will be closed for a short period for accepting the applications for the next round of selection.
• Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate toany future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As withall project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminuswith end of the project.
