Job summary

RGCB (Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology) in Thiruvananthapuram invites applications for two positions of Project Technical Support III to work in the ICMR Intramural Centre for Collaborative Research (CCR) on Malaria and Host Factors under Dr. Rajesh Chandramohanadas.

The role requires a 3-year graduate plus 3 years of experience or a PG in life sciences, with desirable exposure to cell culture, microscopy, protein biochemistry, and BSL-2 lab work.

Qualifications

• Three years graduate in relevant subject field + three years of experience or PG in the field of life science/ molecular biology/ infectious disease biology
• Desirable: basic understanding of cell culture
• Desirable: experience and interest in microscopy, protein biochemistry, or structural biology
• Desirable: experience working in a BSL-2 laboratory
• Desirable: experience in infectious disease research or haematology
• Availability to travel to partnering institutions in the Northeast for field sample collection and research

EssentialQualifications

Duration

Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and extendable based on the performance evaluation.

Selection Process

• Last date for receiving completed applications is 1 st November 2026.
• Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate toany future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As withall project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminuswith end of the project.
