Job summary

Zydushospitals in Gujarat is seeking a laboratory technician to organize workflow by aligning computer orders in HINAI with specimen labeling, sort and log specimens, and arrange delivery reports. The role requires careful record-keeping, a clean workspace, and adherence to safety procedures.

You will conduct independent instrument testing under pathologist supervision, calibrate equipment, run standards, and interpret results for senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize work by matching computer orders on HINAI software with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
• Independent testing by the technician on the various instruments in core and wet labs, after proper training done under the supervision of pathologist.
• Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced troubleshooting; calibrating and testing equipment utilizing approved testing procedures SOPs; monitoring quality control measures and protocols, maintains turn over time.
• Ensure that the reports are certified by the authorized signatories as soon as the results are inter-phased.
• Construct, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, pipetting machines and pH meters.
• Ensure adequate required stock and resourced.
• Record and sometimes interpret results to present to senior colleagues.
• Perform mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs; Keep updating the knowledge with the latest technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.
• Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks.
• Counts sand to report incidences in the Lab and help in taking the corrective actions appropriately.
