Job summary

The role requires B.Sc. MLT or Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology and a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and documentation in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. MLT or Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Familiarity with routine and advanced lab tests is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning optimally.
• Analyze laboratory data, interpret results, and communicate findings to medical professionals.
• Process specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the integrity of laboratory results.
• Utilize microscopy techniques for examination and diagnosis of samples.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of tests conducted and results obtained.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety guidelines and protocols.
• Assist in the development and evaluation of new laboratory procedures and techniques.
