Job summary

Bajaj Finserv Health Limited is seeking a Lab Medical Technician Customer Assistance to engage with customers, understand diagnostic prescriptions, explain test details, and guide them in booking lab tests via our portal.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, a medical lab qualification (DMLT/BMLT/B.Sc.), and strong communication in English plus a regional language. Knowledge of NABL protocols and CRM tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic lab, hospital, or health tech call center.
• Qualification: DMLT/BMLT/B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology or related field.
• Strong understanding of medical/lab test terminologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and one regional language (preferred).
• Ability to explain complex medical information in simple terms.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using health portals/CRMs.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers over call or chat and provide assistance for lab test bookings.
• Interpret and explain the diagnostic tests prescribed by doctors.
• Validate customer prescriptions and recommend suitable test panels.
• Check service availability and guide customers on lab/provider options.
• Book lab appointments accurately on the internal portal/system.
