Job summary

Vijay Sabre invites applications for a laboratory professional to perform testing, inspection, recording and reporting activities accurately in line with approved test methods, SOPs and ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

You will work with raw materials, in-process samples and finished products, follow IS/ISO/ASTM/BS/AATCC methods, operate instruments safely, maintain data traceability and support NABL/ISO 17025 documentation and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory testing and adherence to SOPs.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate test records and data traceability.
• Familiar with safety procedures and calibration activities.
• Ability to follow IS/ISO/ASTM/BS/AATCC test methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products as per approved test methods and SOPs.
• Follow applicable IS, ISO, ASTM, BS, AATCC and customer-specific test methods.
• Operate laboratory testing instruments/equipment safely and correctly.
• Check condition and status of equipment before testing and report abnormalities.
• Maintain complete and accurate raw data, worksheets, test observations and test records.
• Record all test results at testing time and ensure traceability.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures and quality-system requirements.
• Handle laboratory chemicals, reagents and consumables per safety requirements.
• Participate in calibration, intermediate checks and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Assist in NABL/ISO 17025 documentation, internal audits, PT/ILC and corrective actions.

To perform laboratory testing, inspection, recording and reporting activities accurately and in accordance with approved test methods, laboratory SOPs, relevant Indian/International Standards and the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Key Responsibilities

• 2. Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products as per approved test methods and SOPs.
• 3. Follow applicable IS, ISO, ASTM, BS, AATCC and customer-specific test methods.
• 4. Operate laboratory testing instruments/equipment safely and correctly.
• 5. Check the condition and status of equipment before testing and report any abnormality to the Laboratory In-charge.
• 6. Maintain complete and accurate raw data, worksheets, test observations and test records.
• 7. Record all test results at the time of testing and ensure traceability of results.
• 8. Follow laboratory SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures and quality-system requirements.
• 9. Handle laboratory chemicals, reagents and consumables as per safety requirements.
• 10. Participate in calibration, intermediate checks and maintenance activities of laboratory equipment.
• 11. Assist in NABL/ISO 17025 documentation, internal audits, proficiency testing (PT)/ILC and corrective actions as assigned.
• 12 Assist in preparation/review of SOPs, test formats, worksheets and laboratory records.
