Job summary

Sansui Paints in Mumbai is seeking a Lab Assistant to join the Research & Development team in Sakinaka. You will perform routine QC tests on each batch, record results in the QC register, and prepare and label trial packs and retained samples.

Ideal candidates hold a B.Sc (Chemistry preferred) with freshers or up to 2 years in a paint, coating or chemical lab, and demonstrate careful record keeping and basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Test every batch (viscosity, solids, drying, gloss, colour) and record in QC register;

• Maintain instruments and glassware;
• Lab safety;
• Assist the Paint Technologist.

Salary

₹15,000 per month

Working conditions

6 days a week, 9:30 am – 6:30 pm. When workload is high, the day's work is finished before leaving. Every task is noted in a daily task sheet with an evening status. 6-month probation, 30 days' notice. Sansui Employee Terms 2026 apply.
